Your CCPA/CPRA Opt-Out Right
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. This includes the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies to support cross-context behavioral (interest-based) advertising and affiliate attribution — activities that can meet the CCPA/CPRA’s broad definitions of “sale” and “sharing” even when no money changes hands.
What We “Sell” or “Share”
Through advertising and affiliate-tracking cookies described in our Cookie Policy, we may share the following categories of information with third-party advertising and affiliate partners: identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP address) and internet activity data (such as pages viewed and links clicked). We do not sell personal information in exchange for direct monetary payment from data brokers.
How to Opt Out
You have three ways to opt out:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser or a browser extension broadcasts the GPC signal, Foremy will automatically treat this as a valid opt-out request for your browsing session on our Site.
- Cookie Preference Center: Use the cookie-consent tool available in the Site footer to disable the “Advertising / Affiliate Tracking” cookie category described in our Cookie Policy.
- Email Request: Email admin@foremy.com with the subject “CCPA Opt-Out Request,” and we will process your request within 15 business days as required by the CPRA.
Verification
Opt-out requests generally do not require identity verification beyond confirming the browser or email account making the request, since opting out does not involve disclosing additional personal information to you.
Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf, provided we can verify the agent’s authorization.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your opt-out rights.
